About the Trackless train

Trackless trains with wheels are often used to transport tourists rather than other public transport methods. These may be seasonal services that link attractions or other attractions, such as museums and zoos, to central areas. Often it is a tourist attraction that offers train travel, sightseeing along natural routes and a transportation service. In the town of Gruyères, Switzerland, the only vehicle allowed on the streets reserved for pedestrians is a Trackless Tourist train. A similar train is also used to transport students between the train station and the faculties at the Exterior Alcalá de Henares University Campus.

Trackless trains are also used to entertain children while shopping at the malls. Rubber wheel trains used for this purpose are generally smaller and powered by an electric motor with less power.

The larger and stronger Rural Trails are rubber wheeled Travel Trains used as an alternative to traditional light rail, tram and buses.

It is very common in Europe. It is frequently seen in historical parts of the city, zoos and tourist areas. In fact, dozens of wheeled trip trains in the fairgrounds in Italy transport visitors between the halls and entry-exit points.
